As a traditional Japanese confectionery (wagashi) company, Tsuruya Yoshinobu has served the Kyoto Imperial Palace and grand tea masters since our founding in 1803 in Kyoto. Our signature confections are Yūmochi (tiny mochi balls flavored with yuzu citrus and sprinkled with sugar) and Kyōkanze (a roll of red bean paste and steamed rice flour).
